Oliwier Teodorowski
He graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Agricultural University in Lublin in 1999. He is currently the head of the Veterinary Clinic in Mikołów. In 2004, he completed specialization studies in canine and feline diseases, earning the title of specialist in canine and feline diseases. In 2007, he completed specialization studies in veterinary surgery, earning the title of specialist in veterinary surgery.
In February 2016, he began his studies at the European School for Advanced Veterinary Studies (ESAVS) at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Gilles Dupre, Dipl. ECVS, and Dr. Eva Schnabl-Feichter, Dipl. ECVS, where he completed the first-level course in veterinary orthopedics. In 2016, he defended his doctoral dissertation and earned a PhD in veterinary sciences from the University of Life Sciences in Lublin.
He has completed numerous clinical internships, participating in surgical procedures at national and international scientific centers, including the University of Veterinary Medicine in Parma, Italy, in the clinic of small animal surgery and orthopedics, and at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Ghent, Belgium. He has participated in many veterinary conferences, workshops, and courses in Poland and abroad.
Together with Professor Filippo Maria Martini from the University of Parma, Italy, he co-organized training sessions for Polish veterinarians in veterinary orthopedics, focusing on the treatment of cruciate ligament and meniscus diseases using TPLO and TTA methods, as well as issues related to fracture fixation and reconstruction using the PAX method with LCP plates.
In 2015, he conducted theoretical and practical classes on the treatment of canine knee joint diseases for veterinary surgery specialization students at the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław, implementing the TPLO and TTA methods into veterinary practice.
He collaborates with European centers, including Professor Henri van Bree, head of the department of surgery and radiology at the University of Ghent, Professor Juan Pablo Zara, Professor of Veterinary Surgery at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), head of Traumatology, Arthroscopy, Spine Surgery, and Computed Tomography at Sierra Veterinary Hospital in Madrid, Spain, as well as the Petra Šrenka Clinic of Neurosurgery in Brno.
